UK Patient Survey 2022

Submissions open until midnight 18th September 2022

Designed in collaboration with patients and cannabis sector stakeholders, PLEA is pleased to launch a comprehensive new UK survey to better understand the experience patients have with cannabis based products - both on and off prescription, including those who have not yet tried cannabis.

The purpose of the survey is to:

• Bridge the gap between patients and the rapidly expanding cannabis sector. The quantifiable data will be used to ensure patient needs are prioritised as the industry develops. 

• Clarify patient satisfaction with all access routes, identifying any barriers in equality to legal access via private clinics and dispensaries, and to assess their performance.

• Evidence the range of conditions for which patients medicate with cannabis, their preferred products, budgets and routes of access.

• Identify any patient demographics that have significantly unmet needs.

• Repeat the survey annually to track changes.

The anonymised data collected will be professionally analysed, with an open access summary report being published in November.

We welcome the survey being shared with patient communities throughout the UK, to capture all perspectives on the consumption of cannabis for medicinal purposes.

To be eligible to enter our free prize draw, an email address is required when completing the survey. This will be retained by PLEA only for the purposes of contacting the winner and will not be shared with 3rd parties. Voluntary opt-in is at the end of the form.

Introduction

By participating in the competition you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions.The competition is being run by Patient-Led Engagement for Access CIC.

Eligibility to Enter

The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom & Channel Islands aged 18 years of age. Patient-Led Engagement for Access CIC employees, volunteers and associates are excluded from the prize draw.

By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.

There is a limit of one entry per person and the competition is completely free to enter.

The Prize

The winning prizes are:

The use of specific brands as prizes by Patient-Led Engagement for Access CIC does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.

The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.

We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.

Patient-Led Engagement for Access CIC's decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winner Announcement

The winner will be chosen at random on 19th of September 2022 and notified via the email address provided. Patient-Led Engagement for Access CIC will make two attempts to contact the winner via email.

If the winner does not respond to the emails informing them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Patient-Led Engagement for Access CIC reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.

Delivery of the Prize

The winner will allow 14 days for the prize to be delivered, otherwise alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement.

Data Protection and Publicity

You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Patient-Led Engagement for Access CIC for the purposes of administering the competition and for the other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.

All entrants may request information on the winning participant by emailing hello@pleacommunity.org.uk.

The winner will be announced on Patient-Led Engagement for Access CIC's website and social media channels.

Limitation of Liability

Patient-Led Engagement for Access CIC accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.

General

Patient-Led Engagement for Access CIC reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
